Grief Support

Losing a loved one can open up a wide range of feelings. Everyone has the right to grieve in their own way.

Talbot Hospice Grief Support Center

The Talbot Hospice Grief Support Center offers individual and family consultation as well as a number of support groups that meet on a regular basis.  Our services are offered without charge and there is no requirement for your loved one to have been a hospice patient. We offer our bereavement services to anyone, regardless of county of residence. Talking with others who are experienced with loss and grief can be helpful.            

Hospice Grief Support Services 

When a hospice patient dies, those in their support system are eligible to receive 13 months of bereavement services. There is no cost nor need to provide proof of insurance. Support is available to all ages at the Talbot Hospice Grief Support Center. 

Our hospice grief support services include the following:

    • Individual counseling
      Remote options available and accommodated on a case-by-case basis

    • Monthly grief support groups
      All grief support groups meet at Talbot Hospice

    • Supportive telephone contact

    • Memorial events

    • Informational grief literature

    • Referrals to other community supports
